Research Consultant – Research and Innovation
Jace has an MSc in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Canterbury and is a certified Project Management Professional.
Jace has worked at the University of Canterbury since 2003 providing support to staff seeking research services. Prior to this he worked in the USA as Biotechnology Programme Manager for Oregon State University.
In his current role he supports development of research funding at the University of Canterbury, driving strategic research initiatives and coordinating engagement with National Research Centres. This includes involvement in over 1000 proposals and accumulated contracts totalling >$100Million, development of University of Canterbury Research Institutes and coordination of Centres of Research Excellence / National Science Challenges.
