Jason is a Research Fellow who works between the Auckland Bioengineering Institute and the Department of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of Auckland. He is interested in how engineering methods might be applied to problems of interest in vision. To date this has involved work on corneal topography (videokeratography), simulating retinal images, as well as image processing. At present Jason is working on developing ‘the virtual eye’, which is a physics based system for investigating eye disease.
