Dr Nada Signal

Dr Nada Signal is a Senior Research Fellow at the Health and Rehabilitation Research Institute, AUT University. She trained as a physiotherapist and has extensive clinical and managerial experience in the rehabilitation sector. She has been working in rehabilitation research since embarking on her MHSc in 2003. Her PhD, explored locomotor rehabilitation for people with stroke.
Nada’s research focuses on novel and theoretically-sound rehabilitation interventions, including rehabilitation technologies. She is interested how knowledge of the underlying mechanisms associated with impairments, activity limitations and participatory restrictions may inform the development and implementation of rehabilitation technologies.
