I am a research fellow with a multidisciplinary background and expertise in the areas of mathematical modelling and inverse problems of cardiac and gastrointestinal electrophysiology, non-invasive methods for biomagnetic recordings, and biomedical signal processing. I had previous experiences with working on foetal biomagnetic recordings and involved in studies where I analysed foetal brain and cardiac signals. My current research focus is to develop new mathematical models and computational strategies to identify the physiological, neural, and bioelectrical factors behind the gastric disorders, and improve the experimental and analytical techniques of the non-invasive measurements of gastrointestinal electrophysiology. I am currently involved in several collaborative research studies with international research groups (Vanderbilt University, USA; University of Michigan, USA; University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, USA; Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium).
