Platform 2: Sensing and Remote Monitoring

Summary

Miniaturised sensors will transform medical monitoring and intervention. Wireless sensors are leading to continuous and unobtrusive monitoring.

This Technology Platform will accelerate the development, adoption and deployment of new sensors. Our infrastructural capability meets two needs: “niche discovery” and “getting to scale”.

Niche discovery relates to the creation of unique instruments relying heavily on human expertise and specialise infrastructure. Getting to scale focuses on communication, interconnectivity, and supporting widespread adoption of sensor technologies by our diverse partners.
